         <description><![CDATA[<div>Marquez shows that many people are unable to agree on the events surrounding Santiago’s death since 27 years have passed. This aids in understanding the complicity of Santiago’s death and creates confusion for the reader. It is possible that some of the events are incorrect due to the passing of time. “Many people coincided in recalling thatit  was a radiant morning with a sea breeze...But most agreed that the weather was funeral” (4). “Three people who had been in the boardinghouse confirmed that it had taken place,  it four others weren’t sure” (29).</div>]]></description>
