I appreciate the responsive angle because often I feel we are reactive. In my experience reaction has often been negative and too late.

What struck me was my scores on the Self-Diagnostic Tool (42, 32, 32 column scores, respectively). Does my current thinking about best practice block me from exploring or even noticing opportunities for innovative techniques and experimental methods? I'm wondering if I don't have a false sense of security that I am operating with best practices (that might be outdated) when a more innovative method might be a better practice. It reminds me of what my mentor principal told me, "We do the best we can until we can know and do better."
