The article we took talked about America not helping Palestinians in need and favoring Israel to advance and continue to help them expand in this territory that once belonged to the Palestinians. The reason this reflects imperialism is because Israel first were supposed to only take half of what Palestine was. However now due to their increase of power and help from big and strong nations like America, they continue to increase, expand and build on their economics. They take over the new land and put privileges for israelite individuals and disregard the palestinians who are getting exploited. This is an example of religious and social influence because Israel is trying to spread their culture and religion on the Palestinians.

My article is about Greenland. specifically I mean the fact that Greenland is NOT its own country, and could in theory be dissolved at the whims of Denmark. in the article it is explained the history of Greenland and its colony status from the 18th century all the way up to 1953 when Denmark joined the European Union. the territory of Greenland was then given the right to home rule in the "Home rule act" and was expanded upon in the "self governing act" of 2008. Greenland has the power to negotiate with other countries (with the help of Denmark) and can make its own laws and policies, so long as Denmark is making enough money to profit from Greenland. Therefore, Greenland is technically a protectorate.
