The first time I played basketball was when I was 8 years old, my older brother always would beat me every single time I played, it would repeat, and repeat. However I to work on dribbling, shooting, and had to develop the other skills over time. After a year or 2 I was actually started to win, until this day i'm still winning.

This relates because it shows after trying several times I never quit.

I was never good at math, I would always get a bad grade on math, I wasn't good at adding, subtracting, dividing, etc. I would get teach by my wonderful mom. She would give me problems to do, she would teach me step by step until I started to get it. She would tell me not give up, I couldn't get it until I was paying attention focusing, putting lots of effort. I started to get A's and B's on math and understood mostly everything they taught me.

She would make me do some these laps every day, until I had a good time on a the lap. I was learning how to have more stamina, to have good pace, After some months flew by, overtime I got used to running. I would go to district to run with some of the best.
