The time that I observed my mom ironing a shirt, i wanted to also be able to iron My own shirts, so i watched how she did it and tried it (there's one time that i literally burned my finger trying to iron a paper, but anyways) later i just got the hang of it and now i do it by my own.

I learned how to cook and make traditional dishes by observing my mom and grandma. Mostly, it started when I was 6 or 7 years old, my mom taught me how to prepare simple recipes and then later my grandma taught me more complex dishes. It is very traditional in my family to cook in Christmas so it was around that time of the year.

One time I learned something just by observing someone else was when I saw a friend stay calm and kind during a really tense situation. Instead of getting angry, she listened carefully and spoke with empathy. I realized how much that changed the whole mood. It made everyone feel heard and respected. Since then, I’ve tried to be more mindful of the way I speak and how my tone can affect others.
