This means that they are bottom-dwellers, exclusively living on the ocean floor</li></ul><div>- <mark>Zebra Sharks</mark></div><ul><li>Another type of carpet shark, these sharks live along the northern and eastern coastlines. There has been a documented case of a zebra shark reproducing asexually, which is rare</li></ul><div>- <mark>Great Whites</mark></div><ul><li>Whites are Australia's most popular sharks, and are the largest predatory sharks in the world. They can grow up to <a href="https://ourplnt.com/largest-great-white-sharks-ever-recorded/">36 feet long</a> and are an endangered species</li></ul><div>- <mark>Thresher Sharks</mark></div><ul><li>The three species of thresher sharks (below) are found in Australian waters. They can grow up to 20 feet long, and their identifying factor is their long, whip-like tail that they use to beat up prey<ul><li>Pelagic Thresher</li><li>Bigeye Thresher</li><li>Common Thresher</li></ul></li></ul><div>- <mark>Great Hammerheads</mark></div><ul><li>These hammerheads live along the northern, eastern, and western coastlines of Australia, in shallower and coastal water. Great Hammerheads are the largest species of hammerhead—they can grow up to 14 feet— and are very solitary creatures </li></ul><div>- <mark>Tiger sharks</mark></div><ul><li>Also found along the northern, eastern, and western coastlines of Australia, these sharks grow to be about 10-13 feet on average.
