strike once again heavier than before

thundering through the streets unknowing, 

when will you strike again

my eyes were blurred,

the truth was discovered 

the dark soul within 

has been uncovered 

if i did lie the flame could of have gotten thicker 

the truth was never, suppose to be exposed.

Yet I still don't know? 

Guilt 

Suspicious 

So just 

Blame me for the mistakes 

I'll take it 

Shame of me to hurt you 

That's my fault 

But

Losing you was something I never imagined 

I saw you in my future 

And losing you now 

Will change everything 

I blew my chance 

But chance can always change to opportunities 

Forgiveness will take a while 

And apologies won't fix anything 

Yet you will have a scar 

that could never be 

Healed 

Just pain and regrets

Hoping for the next to help you heal.

You broke her 

You emotionally hurt her 

You tore her heart apart 

You gave her hopes 

You made her feel like she's was the one

You turned your back on her 

You left 

You lied

You never looked back 

You didn't realise what you've done 

You made it seems so real

She's still suffering from this day forward

Broken.~

Crushed.~

Shattered.~

Torn.~

Defeated.~

Fragmented.~

Explore the deepest.. 

We have to lose grip and lose ourselves to realise things, accept the changes even if it takes someone so precious to let go and break you in pieces.~~~~~

Evaluation 

For this Final Unit I produced a book but before that I had a different idea of which was just images I took and print it big and display it 

but that was to simple and I also wanted it to be personal meaning something that relates to me,

So knowing that I write poetry as a hobby I wanted to relate it and use part of it on my final unit which was producing a book within that book I had one theme which was ‘Broken’ in latin which is ‘Contritum’ ended up being the title of the book  and ‘contritum’ means someone in sorrow and pain which relates to me

because recently I lost my grandad which actually made me feel broken so thats why I change my idea to produce a book which was different from everyone because it’s a published book within that my images I took and my poems I wrote and the both will be relating to each other, so in my book Each will page contains one poem and with a pictures that relates to brokenness, Pain, lost, sadness, depress, regrets.  

Within all of that I needed inspiration so I did a lot of research eg. Artists and authors also galleries that can give me inspiration.

The Tate modern where I saw a lot of exhibitions like 

Bruce Nauman who is an artist that does a lot of different range of photography eg. NEON lights, Videography, Photography.

 

I also visited the Photography gallery 

which I saw this exhibition which I found very unique and different and the artist name was 

Batia Suter where creates iconographic transformation of images.

Within that all the artist I researched relates to text and techniques eg. 

-Laurence Winram an artist that does double exposures photography which I’ll be doing some off in my book, 

-Lorna Simpson an artist that does a lot of different range of photography that relates to her past and takes pictures of memories that relates to the those moments.

-John Miskelly an artist that travels around the world and takes landscape photography.

Authors that’s inspired me: 

Pierre Alex Jeanty who is author that writes poem an inspiration to men’s meaning the male side of emotions. 

Mary Doria Russell who is a novelist that had a lot of different imagination of writing her stories. 

In this Book I include a lot of techniques of taking pictures and basics of photography and which includes different types of editing on photoshop.

The company where I publish my book is called PHOTOBOX and instead of those ordinary small portraits books I decide to go with an A4 portrait book with hardback. All together their are 27 images and 14 poems which I had to splits the images which all relate to each of the poems in the book. 

Yet you might find 6 images that looks different and old but I purposely was going to use for my final because I wanted to start earlier knowing from past experiences I’m always so slow when it’s comes to deadlines and I never finish on time so my final I want to actually be finished and have enough time to annotate and go through my work. 

Overall I think the book I produce was actually a success knowing that I’ve started my final earlier when it was actually given to me, Just knowing I’ve actually produced a book makes me proud because to me it wasn’t a rush, it was meaningful because I particularly shared my emotions in that moment that I felt all in one book.

Something I think i wish done was save my pictures on desktop because My USB corrupted meaning I lost some images that was apart of my book and everything else like artist research’s so I had to re-write and explain some of the contact sheet that were missing. 

For my final exhibition I’m planning to keep it simple and place my book on a table or something similar, where my book is visible at the same time easy to access  without someone work having to be in the way or near it, I want the exhibition relate to my book too which will include isolation. I want it to be like a book signing but throughout the exhibition I want it to be passed around and be read by different people.
