         <description><![CDATA[<div>Duolingo:<br><br>Achieved 8% fluency and completed up to body 1 and dative prepositions.<br><br>Duolingo is very helpful for learning a variety of vocabulary even though it does not teach grammar or explain conjugations.<br>I will practice Duolingo for at least every other day until I can read Das Kapital.<br> <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Speaking with a friend in German:<br><br></div><div>My friend studies Law with German Law at Sheffield. I have learnt some complex German legal terminology. I speak as much German as possible with her and she corrects and teaches me when I'm wrong.<br><br>We went through basic German grammar rules such as: structuring sentences in terms of time, manner, place and using Kein for nouns, and nicht for verbs.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Learning conjunctions and how to use them from the following video; <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5NQ105_S_Y">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5NQ105_S_Y</a>.<br><br>I managed to learn the three types of conjunctions: Coordinating, subordinating, and jedoch,also,totzdem.<br><br>The video explains how to use them and how they affect sentence structure. For example, subordinating conjunctions push the verb to the end of the sentence.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Learning the Prepositions<br><br>I learnt the most commonly used prepositions and made a table for which belonged to which case.<br><br>I also wrote examples to show when the cases change for two-way-prepositions.<br><br>This will help to correct basic sentences and phrases when using the different cases.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Drawing tables for definite and indefinite articles for all the genders and cases.<br><br>This helped to consolidate the articles for each case and will be a useful visual guide for when I forget the articles in the future. I also included all the adjective endings for each case which will prepare me for when I learn how to use them properly.</div>]]></description>
