El Salvador is a Spanish speaking country located in the region of Central America, bordering the North Pacific Ocean in the south, between Guatemala and Honduras. The El Salvadorian flag are a mix of colors of white, yellow, and blue. The blue stripes symbolizes the ocean and the sky, the white means peace. The symbol in the middle is called the Coat of Arms. It symbolizes the five member states of the United and Central America. It is a yellow bordered triangle with green volcanoes, blue ocean, and hatted staff. In El Salvador, thousands of children have been arrested in a mass anti-gang campaign in El Salvador. This has been a situation in El Salvador since 2022 with many suffering abuse while in custody. The campaign, beginning in March 2022 as part of El Salvadorian president ( Nayib Bukeles) pledged to root out gangs from the country that used to be ridden with crime, has created many human rights violations against minors. The police rounded up about 3,319 minors in "countless indiscriminate raids" targeting those in low income neighborhood's known to be a big place for crime. Many of the people who were arrested have "no apparent connection to gangs abuse activity"
