         <title>Humiliity</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.  Apologize to students when I'm wrong or 'out of line' and ask how I can do better.<br>2.Admit when we mess up.<br>3.Admit when I'm wrong , literally say it out loud &amp; then apologize.<br>4.Trying to live by the motto: No more than my place, no less than my space.<br>5.Asking students how I can improve.<br>6.Recognizing our mistakes and admitting when we are wrong.  <br>7.Asking for feedback and how I could make the lesson better from students.<br>8.Tell students of my failures of how I've taught a concept. Always room for improvement.<br>9.Be willing to say if we don't know an answer or if we are wrong.<br>10.Value the words "I need help"  Letting students know we don't have all of the answers but will work together to do it.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Working together to get better.<br>2.No one should be on an island to themselves all of the time.  Collaboration of ideas and listening is vital.<br>3. Teachers willingness to help others (technology, coverage, student issues.<br>4. Modeling work for students. Showing students that learning means working together.<br>5.Making adjustments in our workday for testing.  Working with other teachers wehn needed.<br>6.Students need to work in groups to learn how to interact with others<br>7.Coordinate with other teachers - work together for the benefit of students.<br>8.try to make sure new teachers and new studenets freel apart of our school.<br>9.Work as a staff, departments, etc. to share responsibilities<br>10. Lots of collaboration between German/Spanish<br>11.Working with parents and other who have an influence on students to help students make good choices.<br>12.listen to co-workers.<br>13.working closely with grade level teachers<br>14.The academic banquet shows lots of teamwork by the entire staff.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Caring</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.Asking a student how they are doing? If they need anything?<br>2.Working for the benefit of students.  Helping them do their best.<br>3.I feel if students don't see we care by developing genuine/profesional relationships how/why should they care working for us.<br>4.Even when students aren't at their best, supporting them to do their best.<br>5. Try to greet each student or talk to each student individually each day.<br>6.Holding students to a high standard when it would be easier to let them slide.<br>7.Listening to students' ideas and problems that they may be facing. Sharing stories from your life to help them through their struggles.<br>8.Mail notes to students to recognize their achievements.<br>9.We as a staff care about our roles as teachers. WE give our students amazing opportunities in class to do some really cool things.<br>10.greet all students by name as they enter your classroom. express confidence in their ability to improve.<br>11. I try to connect on the goings-on in the kids' lives by asking about their personal lives especially if they've been sick or lost a loved one.<br>12.I usually greet kids as they come into the classroom - ask how day has been<br>13.Every student matters whether they have and A or an F, always here or absent a lot. I like to find certain kids to smile &amp; make eye contact.<br>14.The recognition of efforts &amp; caring between co-workers both professionally &amp; personally.<br>15. Recognizing physical representations of stress or emotions and asking students and co-workers that they have someone who will listen.<br>16.I've taken the time to work with a senior - help her deal with the stress of the senior year, write her college application essay, face challenges, and boost her up when she needs it.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Courage</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Have students work on presentations throughout the year.&nbsp; Most students really fear presenting in front of peers.<br>2.Even though our lives are not the same and we all have issues outside of school we still put on our happy face and show up to work.<br>3. We try new things at Hauser like canvas, start new organizaations &amp; try new things in our lessons.<br>4.Trying new lessons out of my comfort zone.<br>5.Reading different/more relevant texts while teaching them in ways I'm not used to.<br>6.I'm following my goals and taking courage to try new things<br>7.When I don't know how to do something like open or find a googledoc, I ignore the tone &amp; continue asking until I understand.<br>8. Courage to do new things or use new ideas for student &amp; personal growth.&nbsp; Without it we grow stagnant &amp; can't be all we need to be for students.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Discipline</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.Getting our work done well when we would rather be doing something else.<br>2. Organized &amp; disciplined to keep myself on track as a full time teacher and a full time grad student.<br>3.students know rules in class- having respect for peers and teacher - student know that if one breaks that rule they are called out and a discussion prevails.<br>4.Continuing to hold students at a high standard.<br>5.Walk at least 4 days a week before school.<br>6. Sticking to consequences even when I I have to write up/scold/etc. A 'good' kid &amp; reward a student considered 'bad'<br>7. Being consistent w/ discipline by asking for a pass each time.&nbsp; Enforcing the rules the same for all students. making behavior appropriate, so that all students can learn in a safe environment free from distractions.<br>8. Show up for work on time. Do our job.;</div>]]></description>

         <title>Perseverance</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Never give up! Showing them that HW is practice - that we always need to learn from our mistakes.&nbsp; Telling them about times I have failed &amp; what I did to turn it around.<br>2.Make mistakes but never give up<br>3.Doing my best through the trials of life.<br>4. Making sure to help students falling behind.<br>5.Every time I have moved, I take a deep breath and decide to make my new community home by finding work and a church, planting a garden, and making friends.&nbsp; Making friends is the hardest part because it takes time&nbsp;<br>6.Never give up on a student - I keep trying to find another way to connect.<br>7.Always trying! NEver give up and working hard to make things better for the next time.<br>8.Continually teaching concepts - promptly grading - correcting papers -- getting students' effort back with feedback.</div>]]></description>

Have students pick a goal to complete by the end of the year and make sure they complete it.<br>2. 33 years and still here!<br>3.When I feel like I am the only one enforcing a rule that I don't think is important (but it is still in the handbook so. . .)<br>4.Follow through, if I say I will do something my students understand I 'Say what I meant and meant what I say."</div>]]></description>
