The results of the survey were analyzed and presented in an infographic.

• Pedagogical Innovation & Student Agency (Criterion 3): The survey questions were not provided by the teachers. Instead, they were brainstormed, researched, and written entirely by 6 of our students. Our students stepped out of their passive roles and took on the role of "researchers".

• Curriculum Integration & Key Competences (Criterion 4): "Screen Time and Digital Habits", which perfectly aligns with the spirit of our project, was chosen as the research topic. During this process, our students utilized their Mathematical competences such as data collection, reading percentages, and interpreting survey results. They also improved their Digital Literacy skills in the context of e-Safety.

• Technology Use (Criterion 2): Google Forms was securely used as the data collection tool. Once the survey is completed, the resulting statistical data will be analyzed by our students and transformed into a one-page visual "Data Story" using Canva, a Web 2.0 tool.

Almost all students (95.3%) think recycling matters, and two thirds know which materials can be recycled. However, less than half always recycle at home, and one in four students still throws all their waste together without separating it. Plastic is the most commonly recycled material, while glass is largely ignored. Since most respondents are 14–15 years old, the findings suggest that school education is successfully building awareness — but turning that awareness into everyday habit remains the real challenge.

Bu etkinlik, Nisan ayı eylem planındaki “Veri Hikâyesi & İnfografikler” görevini yerine getirmek için gerçekleştirildi. Süreç tamamen öğrenci merkezli yürütüldü ve eTwinning Kalite Etiketi kriterleri gözetildi.

• Öğrenci Katılımı: Anket soruları öğretmenler tarafından değil, 6 öğrencimiz tarafından araştırılarak ve yazılarak hazırlandı. Böylece öğrenciler araştırmacı rolünü üstlendi.

• Müfredat ve Yeterlikler: Konu olarak “Ekran Süresi ve Dijital Alışkanlıklar” seçildi. Öğrenciler veri toplama, yüzdeleri okuma ve yorumlama gibi matematiksel becerilerini kullandı; dijital okuryazarlık ve e-güvenlik farkındalıklarını geliştirdi.

• Teknoloji Kullanımı: Veri toplama için Google Forms kullanıldı. Sonuçlar öğrenciler tarafından analiz edilerek Canva aracılığıyla görsel bir Veri Hikâyesi infografiğine dönüştürülecek.

Sonuç: Öğrenciler araştırma sürecinde aktif rol aldı, temel yeterliklerini geliştirdi ve ortaya kanıta dayalı, görsel açıdan güçlü bir ürün çıkardı.
