         <description><![CDATA[<div>A disease is a harmful deviation from the normal structural or functional state of an organism.<br><br>A disorder is a disruption to regular bodily structure and function.<br><br><br>The only similarity of Disease &amp; Disorder is that they are the collections of signs and symptoms. Yet, the difference is disease is the disturbance in the function of an organism, while disorder is the disturbance in the function of a body or mind.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Xerophthalmia&nbsp;<br><br><br>Xerophthalmia is an eye disease caused by the Vitamin A deficiency.&nbsp;<br><br>The symptoms of xerophthalmia are night blindness, ulcers or scars on your cornea, white spots on your conjunctiva, or dry or wrinkles on the outer layer of your eye.<br><br>To treat xerophthalmia, Vitamin A therapy and supplementation are the options. The treatment could be either given orally or from injections. Antibiotics can also treat xerophthalmia as to prevent eye infections.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Lung Cancer<br><br>Lung cancer is one of the types of cancer that occurs in the lungs when you smoke (or secondhand smoke), get exposed to toxins (uranium, radon, cadmium, or air pollution), or through a family history.<br><br>The symptoms of lung cancer are coughing and throwing up blood, wheezing, chest pain, and weight loss.<br><br>The treatment for lung cancer is surgery, but chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or immunotherapy is required.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Atopic Dermatitis<br><br>Atopic Dermatitis, also known as eczema, is a skin disease caused by cold and dry weather, dampness, dust mites, pet fur, irritants from soaps and detergents, and family history of the condition.<br><br>The symptoms are itchiness, the red rash on swollen skin that varies (depending on the skin color), sensitive skin from scratching, dry skin, and darkening of the skin around the eyes.<br><br>The treatment for atopic dermatitis can either be taken care of by self-care or recommended medications from your doctor. Self-care treatments are keeping your skin moisturized 2-3 times a day, apply the moisturizers to the damp or wet skin, use moisturizers that doesn't contain alcohol, dyes, or chemicals (if allergic to any of the following three), and avoid strong soaps and detergents. The medications that doctors give are cyclosporine, methotrexate, prednisone, mycophenolate and azathioprine. It can also be steroid, antihistamine, and topical antiseptic.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Low Bone Density<br><br>Low Bone Density, also known as osteopenia, is a condition that occurs when the bone decreases lower from the body not creating a new bone and reabsorbs the old bone. The causes are low diet in your calcium, smoking, age-related hormone changes, certain medical diseases (Osteoporosis, Celiac Disease, Hyperthyroidism, or Cancer). Women are most likely at risk.<br><br>The symptoms most likely come from the condition of osteoporosis that includes back pain, loss of height, fractured bones, and a stopped posture.<br><br>The treatments for Low Bone Density (osteopenia) can either be taking Bisphosphonate medications (Fosamax, Actonel, or Boniva) or exercising.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Tourette Syndrome<br><br>Tourette Syndrome is a disorder that affects the nervous system involving repetitive movements or unwanted sounds. Repetitive movements or unwanted sounds are called (tics).&nbsp;<br><br>The symptoms, (tics) include uncontrollable moments like compulsive behavior (repeatedly blinking eyes, shrugging shoulders, nonsense repetitive words, etc.), difficulty with body movements, involuntary muscle contraction, anxiety, frequent throat clearing, etc.<br><br>The treatments for Tourette Syndrome can either be seeking Cognitive behavioral therapy or taking antipsychotics.</div>]]></description>
