These three minute episodes explained what happened in history on that day. "The series never received a home media release and it is very rare. It's unknown if any episodes from both seasons survive, however, it's possible that the master tapes either got lost or were destroyed. It's very unlikely that anyone recorded a single episode to the series, as recording television broadcasts during the time was extremely limited and bulky" (Otogi Manga Calendar). This was one of the first films that featured photos and film taken from newspapers.

This was the very first televised anime, this changed anime history. This anime was on the NHK channel. Releasing Three Tales & Mole's Adventure was a world wide mark in history. These were 30 minutes long that was 3 different episodes. The first episode was "The Third Plate, featuring God and his angel assistant creating the world" (OtakuGold). The second episode was "Oppel and the Elephant, in which a cruel factory manager forces an elephant to gather supplies, to the point of starvation" (OtakuGold). The third was "Sleepy Town in which a boy asked by the Sandman to spread sand across a town full of people who are so awake and active they are progressing too quickly, destroying the environment as a result" (OtakuGold). These three episodes were the first three black and white televised amine. These episodes "were narrated by actress and singer Meiko Nakamura" (OtakuGold).

As Japan was recovering from the ravages of war, Astro Boy, a child-robot with super powers, captured their imagination of a nation in need of hopes and dreams" (The Robot Hall of Fame). This was broadcasted in 50 different countries and after many years another film of Astro Boy was released in color. Releasing another Astro Boy in color was a big step in American history. Before colored television everything was black and white. "Three generations ago, Astro Boy ignited the imaginations of millions of Japanese children... had a major impact in a country searching for its future... and continues to inspire new generations of robot makers around the world" (The Robot Hall of Fame).

This animation industry had a major affect on our world. This industry allowed us to make more televised and more picture animations. They are now Based in Los Angeles, and are "responsible for the program licensing of Toei Produced Series to North American, Latin American, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand" (About us). Some of the anime created by Toei Animation are Ookami Shonen Ken, Fujimaru of the Wind, Jun the Space Patrol Hopper, and Hustle Punch.

"This series follows Sally, princess of the Land of Magic. One day, after becoming increasingly bored due to her parents never being around and always making her study, she decides to run away to the Human World" (Sally the Witch (Manga)). After fleeing to the human world she meets two girls who she gets really close with. Her father sends cub to come get her from the human world but he ends up staying and helping her with two robbers. tvtropes says, "The series consists mostly of the episodic misadventures of Sally and her friends as she faces the world and the plethora of problems it has in store for her. All the while keeping her magic & her identity as a magical princess a secret from even her closest friends" (Sally the Witch (Manga)).

During this show they solve mysteries and correct wrongdoings. Sabu has a family, and his boss works "as a police officer for the Tokugawa Shogunate" (myanimelist). Sabu to Ichi Torimono Hikae has 26 episodes full of action, adventure, police and martial arts. Toei Animation produced this anime and it was first aired on tv October 3, 1968.
