Did you know that in 2014 YouGov conducted one of the largest studies about harassment on public transportation that resulted in a list of cities that can be deemed the worst when it comes to harassment on public transit? The safest being New York City and the most dangerous being Bogota, Columbia.

Also, this year in 2016 ActionAid conducted a large survey on street harassment showing that 79% of women in India, 86% in Thailand and 89% in Brazil have faces some sort of harassment from men while walking on the streets.

This is when people stop to tell him to stop being a "panzy" and a "Loser." Nobody says anything to the female about her actions. 

Then the male begins to grab the female the same ways and as she asks him to stop and leave her alone, many women began to approach and even push him away from her telling him that he cannot treat a woman like that.

This is where other men approach and begin to defend the young woman. When she puts on a headdress the male comes back and begins to once again, harass her about what she is wearing and even uses the word "terrorist." Not one person attempted to stop him.

In France a woman tells us about how common it is to hear cat calling, and that it sometimes turns into insults as the men there believe that women enjoy or should enjoy when they cat call to them. To fight against this, a group called Stop Harcelement de rue (Stop Street Harassment) organizes annual areas for women to go without annoying men being around. Over 100 men from different ethnic backgrounds approached and tried to get her to talk to them. They cat called to her and some even got upset when she wouldn't acknowledge them. One man  also followed her for 5 minutes straight.
