I did this painting for my aunt originally because she loves wearing head wraps and this was kind of a faceless portrait of her. I did this piece out of boredom. My mom had a big piece of glass in the garage she was going to use for something in her Etsy shop and she never used it so I took it. This original painting was made for my grandmother and it's just my mom, me, and my little sister. I feel like all Black mothers do their daughters hair no matter how old they get, not saying they never do their own hair but if my mom wants to do my hair I will always let her. This piece was made for fun honestly. I love scary movies and scary things and I wanted to make something I would actually wear often and GhostFace came to mind.

I did this one for ms. austin because she is an AKA and she wanted to have something to wear when they have their meeting and she wanted something no one else would have. she sent me pictures as inspiration and then I just painted the hand first and then pressed the date and AKA part on and she loves it. This piece was made for my dad. He loves the movie The Mask and I wanted to make him something he can put in his man-cave whether it be something he can hang up or lay on the floor as a rug.
