4. Shay´s rebellion- an armed uprising in Massachusetts during 1786 and 1787. Revolutionary War veteran Daniel Shays led four thousand rebels in an uprising against perceived economic and civil rights injustices.

P- I see a man being stepped on by a large boot by it is to depict there is nothing to do about the issues being presented to him.

I- Because I see ¨Sun belt political machine and big oil corporations¨ written on the shoe that is stepping on a man, I think this implies that the people are being basically walked over by the government and forced to pay taxes. 
C- The artist was trying to say basically the people were forced by the government, dominated by the Political machines and big oil corporations , to pay taxes and had pretty much no say and couldn´t defend themselves.
