Statoil and Chevron share 50% share of an agreed permit. in may 2015, members of the MUNZ and ITF gathered outside New Zealand's consulate in Perth to voice their concerns on Chevron sharing the permit and to warn New Zealand's citizens on the entrant's poor practices. There are other minerals from Brazil, some that include gold, copper, zinc, manganese and other precious and semi-precious stones. Within Brazil, places such as Minas Gerais, Rio, Grande do Sul, Goiás, Pará, Tocantins, Paraíba and Piauí are mainly responsible for mining. Mining has been one of the biggest sources for the economy of Brazil. As of 2018, Brazil had around 187 active mines. The Brazilian Mining Association is responsible for all the companies and institutions that work in the mining industry in Brazil.</div>]]></description>
