1. To light up my pictures I used a photo reflector that uses the rays of the sun to give the picture more light. It made my picture brighter depending on the angle we used the reflector for. It was easy to use , yet hard to find the perfect angle because there wasn't much sun but it was still effective.
2. I noticed that the difference between my pictures I used for apertures f/8 and f/1.8 are that the f/1.8 tends to blur out the outside or background of the pictures and focus mostly on one thing while the f/8 focuses more on the entire picture with little to no blur. I would prefer to use the f/1.8 because I like how blurring can make a picture more touching in the way of making a different part of the picture stand out.
3. What I learned from food photography is a lot. I learned that to get better pictures of food you have to play around with the food and get different angles to have a more standing out picture. I learned how from my pictures, aperture f/8 makes the picture have a clearer view while f/1,8 has a blur effect but still makes the picture very great.
4.If I were to do this again, I would have brought more props and food. I think with more props and different styles of food you can take a variety of different pictures. It would be fun to put small props on the food just to decorate it and make the picture more interesting.
