1. We think the woman is running from the man because they are in a fight. Maybe they are married but they have many problems in there relation ship, and the woman can't handle it any more. We think she runs because the man still love her and would like to be together with her, but she won't.
2. The picture is oil on canvas. The picture seems a little creepy, sad and cold becasue of the colors there are used. The only bright thing on the picture is the sky and the gate.
3. Carel Victor Morlais Weight is born the 10. september 1908 in London - died the 13. august 1997 (89 years)
He was educated in Chelsea College of art.
4. We think this picture is similar with "The eye" because you can see 2 persons running away from another man. The persons there runs away looks a little terrified or sad.

1. We think that the man on the left is cheating on the woman. The two where out and had a chat and she exposed his lies and now the woman is runing away. The boy on the left is trying to calm her down but the woman is just too sad about that her husband is cheating on her. The boy down in the right corner is their son.

2. The picture the eye is mostly made with dark colours. The picture is also made with a lot of green and little bit yellow. The only thing in the picture that is not dark is the fence. The fence is white. In the picture you can see the paintbrush paint.

3. Carel Victor Morlais Weight is the painters full name. The painter was born on september 10. 1908 in London. Carel died on august the 13. 1997.

We have taken this picture because there is someone runing and also someone scared and holding their hands on their head. In the picture the colours is also dark and not many bright colors.

The man is chasing the woman because, he has hit the woman, and he got very angry and now he is trying to apoligize, but the woman is afraid of being hit again.

The eye can be a symbol of the viewers interpretations on the painting.

The painting is painted in an abstract kind of way, and in just about the center of the painting there is a white gate. There are som tall dark(green) trees, there are also some bushes in the painting.

Carel Weight:
He was born Paddington in the year of 1908 and died 1997. Carel has made a lot of paintings. During the second world war he also painted, to describe the tragedie and emotions.

The picture underneath is quite similar to "The eye" because there are trees and somene is chasing a person. In this case it is a lion, but the situation is alike. There is also nature on both paintings, but on this painting there are animals because the situation is happening in a zoo.

1. We think she's running from something evil, because the picture is very dark and it looks stormy. The evil could be the guy/girl behind her. But is hard to know, because the expression on the persons face could be scared or angry. It's hard to know.
The man in the Botton right corner is like watching over them, like an eye following them.

2. The painter has used very lightly brush strokes. It has made the picture wavy. It is oil that's painted on canvas.
The primary display of colors on the canvas is very dark. But the fence color is a contrast to the rest of the picture. Which makes the fence stand out.

Carel Weight:
He was a british painter born on the 10th of September 1908 and died 13th of august 1997. He got educated from Chelsea College of arts. He studied at many art academy's.
He painted many pictures.
When weight returned to London 1947 he got an invite to teach at the Royale College of art.

3.

1. We think that the story behind the picture, is about a woman running away from a dangerous man. The person in the front corner is looking at them and maybe he wants to help the woman.

2. The painter have made the picture alive because of the trees and bushes, because they look windy like the picture is alive. The thing you notice first is the white gate because it stands out. The sky is pink, grey and brown witch makes the painting a little dramatic and scary. There is both warm and cold colors. The brush there has been used is a big brush maybe because there is not many details and direct formations.

3. The painter is Carel Weight he was born in Paddington the 10 september 1908. He died 13 august 1997 (88) in London. He was british, he is known for landscape and portrait pantings. He has made a lot of paintings and he was accepted to the Chelsea College of arts.

4. Here is on of his paintings: We choose this painting because it is also from Carel Weight and it is a girl running from a man that is kind of invisible. It is connected to the other picture because of a girl running from a boy and maybe the man can see her with his eyes but he is invisible to her.

We think that the guy hit the women, because she is holding her hand up to her head.
The guy is maybe trying to stop the woman from running away, so she wont go to the police. And we also think that the guy down in the right corner is also the one who painted the picture. He probably saw it in real life and decided to paint it.

It's oil on canvas and the paintbrush strokes are pretty visible. The painting looks abstract and the painter hasn't gone very far into details. There is being used a lot of cold colors, but very few warm colors, the painter also used contrasts like blue and red.

(Born London, 10 September 1908; died London, 13 August 1997). British painter.

In the Second World War he served with the Royal Engineers and Army Education Corps and was appointed an Official War Artist in 1945, working in Austria, Greece, and Italy. He began teaching at the Royal College of Art in 1947 and was professor of painting there from 1967 until his retirement in 1973. Weight was something of a maverick figure (“I don't like the art world very much”).

We thing the painting looks like The Eye, because there is a person that's being chased, an also because there's guy down in the right corner.

1. We think that the woman tries to run away from the man, which is her father. She wants to move away from the mad father, and she wants to live with the man with the eye in the bottom right corner. But the man with the eye doesn' t want to intervene the family issues. So the woman ends up losing the man with the eye becuse he doesn' t want to intervene the family issues.

2. The picture is made with a loose hand, wayway and blurred. The picture consists green colors as the main used color. The picture isn't standing still, but a movement is going on. There is also some kind of shadow, down by the face. The picture is pretty dramatic, and wants to tell us a story. But we need to figure the story out based on this picture. If we start interprets the picture, we have an eye in the right corner. Is it a stalker, or a god. Maybe there is some kind of relation between the eye and the girl, ord the eye and the running man. I think there is some kind of a storm going on. The trees are shaking and blowing in the wind, and the girl has her arm in front of her face.

3. Carel Waight was born in Paddington in 1908, and his father was a bank worker, and his mother worked as a Chriropodist. He studiet at Hammersmith School of art from 1928 to 1930. He died 1997 at the age of 88.

4.
