     A soliloquy is the act of a speaker or character thinks aloud for the audience to hear, often about thoughts, ambitions, or to foreshadow the text. This example of soliloquy demonstrates Macbeth's tough decisions of whether or not to murder the king. Debating the possible negative impact of the act.      The paradox is self contradictory and used to convey Macbeth's attitude towards his new title as thane of Cawdor and his eeriness towards the ideas placed in his head by the witches and Banquo. Macbeth is worried that he may turn to murdering the king as foreshadowed by the witches prophecy.
