In 10th grade, my Spanish teacher inspired me to become a high school Spanish teacher. The way she carried herself in the classroom and how she influenced many of the students showed me that this is what I want to do. I gained the passion of learning world languages and think that it is an important subject for all students to learn. Also her work with the Peace Core is something that I would like to do myself before becoming a full-time teacher. I strongly believe that gaining experience outside of the world that we live in is extremely impactful and is something to carry with you. She also made many good points of using technology in the classroom. I usually find myself very close to a deadline when I begin on a project. Even when I take a planner and attempt to divide up my time, I have a hard time sticking with it. I want them to see me as a teacher because obviously, I will be teaching them Spanish. I want them to see me as a role model for all that they can be in the future. While being their role model, I also want them to see me as someone they can turn to. I want them to see me as a learner so that they know that there is never a point in life where you stop learning. There is not a point in life where you know all that you can and it all just stops.
