The experiences in AVES reinforce my belief about learning, which is like the growth of the tree. Growth is the nature of the tree, we don't have to force it and we can not force it. The specific kind of tree will need a specific nurturing condition for them to grow. The tree will grow in their own pace by their own way, which contributing to the diversity of the forest.

Through supporting students, I've learned from everyone involved in the program, from the organizers, other facilitators, interns, and even the students. Each of you has an incredible ability to make the program go smoothly, although there are some problems sometimes. It is one of the most precious experiences in my life. After 6 weeks of working together, I feel no gap between myself and the other members at all.

What I learnt:
- The attitude of other facilitators towards programme, they always want to help students get the best out of the programme and connect students despite the distance and online platform. Each of them has their own ways to guide students, that I learn a lot.
- Give students space to grow. Know their way of learning and communicating. Each student has their own learning style. How to help them to cooperate while doing group work is essential. Students in group 5 seem quiet but they are determined to finish the final project. They are a little bit shy at first, but while you get to know them more, they are funny, responsible.

In webinar 5, I adopted the activity of identifying with interpretable pictures on a collage that Ms Thuyet had used on us faci and interns. When Zong Shen put his name on this picture, I assumed it was for a similar reason I did the same in week 2: oh time flew so fast in the webinars, couldn't catch up blah blah.

To my surprise, he enthusiastically shared about how AVES made him feel like he had such a huge an advantage over his peers who didn't attend. This little moment reminded me of how different people, at different stages of their lives, can experience the same thing with drastically different perspective and got different values out of it.

Along with beneficial information that I've learnt from the speakers of 5 webinars, one thing that amazed me the most is the connection that I have had with my group 6. I still remember at the beginning I was so excited to meet everyone so I messaged each person in the group. When we first discussed about our final project, the whole team got confused but then we all managed to finish our video with incredible teamwork spirit. Everyone tried so hard and the final product is amazing. Thank you for all of these experience, I hope that we can still stay in touch later on.

This was a fantastic learning experience.

Apart from learning about the various aspects of Vietnam, I've also learnt more on how to work with others in a group setting.

It has been a good time here.
AVES 2022 is a memorable journey for me this summer. I made new friends, each of them brought me joy every Friday afternoon and I will miss them after this program. All of them are very nice to me and I am feeling grateful. Thank you Ben, Tammy, Qistina, Janie and especially Sophia that helped me a lot through the program.
Going through 5 webinars opened my eyes, and I learned a lot of beneficial information from the speakers and the program. Everyone in my group tried so hard together and I am pleased to work with them every time. Apart from knowing more about Viet Nam, I have also learned how to work with other members and it was a fun experience.

Through this program, I have got an opportunity to be able to be open-minded and practice my confidence to speak up and engage in discussions and conversation with my team members. Thus, I have learned that teamwork will work if every member is able to contribute and be confident to communicate with each other. Confidence is the ability to succeed.

It was a fun and fulfilling experience in AVES, I was able to learn about Vietnam's culture and make friends with some Vietnam students. This is my first time participating in an virtual oversea exchange program. I was quite worried about the engagement of the program as it will be held virtually, but the host and facilitator was very nice and created many fun activities for the students to bond together. I am also very grateful to my groupmates, for being cooperative and enthusiastic. Some of us had mic issues and camera issues, however that did not bothered us from participating in group discussion.

To all the speakers from webinar 1-5, thank you so much for sharing with us about Vietnam's STEEP (Social, Technological, Economic, Environmental and Political). Learning about how Vietnam had grow through out the years has inspired me to be the same. Constantly improving and challenge myself to create innovative ideas. Vietnam is a country that I'm looking up to, it has a huge potential to grow in the future.

Thank you to all that has participate and helped out in this AVES program. I had a great time talking and bonding with my facilitator and my group 2 mates. All the best for everyone in the near future!! I hope that one day we will be able to travel to Vietnam and see everyone in real-life!! ❤❤

This Program has taught me many things about Vietnam and I enjoyed my time along with peers from both Singapore and Vietnam where I hope to be able to stay in touch with them for a long time and hope to meet them in person one day.

Working together with my group members has made me realise that while doing the final project if we finish the program as a team with one person missing from the team makes me feel incomplete despite that I enjoyed my time with my group members.

It's been wonderful being a part of this program. AVES has enabled me to have first-hand experience in working with my international peers. friends, which is the opportunity I have always been looking for. My groupmates and I might not talk too much during this program, we have had memorable talks during the group meetings that we scheduled for ourselves. Even though the meetings were mainly about discussing work and we didn't talk much about our countries, I'm happy to see that we're all contributing to the group product, and at least we all actively participate in the group meetings. Hopefully, in the future, we will meet each other again, in Singapore or in Vietnam, and thus we will have more time to talk about our countries.

It's been a great honor to gain precious knowledge from the industry experts, it really makes me feel like I'm an adult now :D I regret a little bit for not asking the experts any questions, for some of the information were a little too much for me and thus I did not know what I wanted to know more about. However, this has been an eye-opener for my own country Vietnam, how come I did not know that I have been living in such an innovative nation? Thank you AVES for reminding me of how proud I should be of my home country.

All in all, I would like to give my sincerest thanks to AVES, the industry experts, my Singaporean peers, the Faci's, the Interns, and everyone who has been working hard to make this program the best experience for us. It was a very fun experience for me as I was able to make new friends along the way. I was a little afraid when I first joined the webinar as I thought that I wouldn’t be able to get along with anyone. To my surprise, everyone was so friendly and welcoming towards each other. I was able to learn many things about Vietnam, such as their cultures etc. Having discussion with my group after every talk was good as we were able to share our thoughts and get on the same page. It was also very fun to work together on the presentation.

I hope that we all will remain as friends even after this webinar is over.

The experience I had at AVES 2022 can be wrapped up in 3 words:

Knowledge - For all new facts and knowings I learned from the speakers. Thanks to them I eventually got to know more about my home country, how fast it is in evolving, and the reasons why all young Vietnamese should contribute to bringing this country to the next level.

Friendship - It is no out-of-the-blue that I always choose the highest score when it comes to the question about whether my Singaporean friends help me enjoy the webinar more. They are all so lovely, helpful and enthusiastic. I really do appreciate AVES ORG Team for bringing them to me and help widening my social network more internationally.

Appreciation: I just want to say thank you 1000 times to all those who participated in AVES 2022. Ms. Thuyet who was always supportive and led the team so well, Ms. Thuy who I seriously value her efforts put into helping group 7, my Singaporean friends who were always responsible to our work,... Through this 6 weeks, I have learned a lot about vietnam. What got my most attention is how Vietnam managed to keep its inflation stable during global price turbulences. I have also got a chance to make friends with people in Vietnam through this AVE which is a very great experiences and exposure for me. This 6 weeks has truly benefited me, giving me an advantage among my peers in school. In the future, if I ever go to Vietnam, I as a business owner or an investor I would know what I need to do when I reach there.

This has been an enriching and meaningful experience for me. Prior to this programme, my knowledge of Vietnam was very little. Over the past 5-6 weeks, I can confidently say that I have definitely learnt a lot more.

On a personal note, a big thank you to my newfound Vietnamese friends for also sharing about their amazing country. As for my Singaporean friends (or rather schoolmates), it was a great way to get to know them more on a personal level, from their interests to even the types of businesses that they wish to have in the future. @ Uyên, you were a great facilitator too!

Thanks to AVES my summertime is much more meaningful. Back then, after receiving invitation from AVES. I was extremely surprised, I didn't think that i could have this opportunity. I imagined a lot about the program this time, about knowledge, about friends,... And honestly, AVES didn't disappoint me. I experienced all the things i looked forward to and had a happy time here. I really liked it when we were in a webinar, we had a chance to meet some very successful people, heard them presenting and interacted with them. Besides, during the group discussion time, i had chances to talk a lot about what i learned and also shared a lot about my country. It was so proud to bring my country closer to people. My teammate was very nice. Even though i made many mistakes, they still encouraged me to go on and told me that i had done a very good job. I really appreciated that!

I truly enjoyed the entire 6 weeks of the AVES 2022 Program as it is not just a memorable journey for me as I made so many new friends that come from all walks of life and through this program, I truly got to immerse myself in the Vietnam culture.
I'm also thankful to my entire team for this amazing experience and it's an experience that I will definitely treasure for the rest of my life and look back at the good old memories as it remains in my heart.
