• 6.  A 1997 survey of more than 18,000 prison inmates found that among those serving time for a violent crime, “30% of State offenders and 35% of Federal offenders carried a firearm when committing the crime.”
• 7.  During the seven years prior to when Chicago’s handgun ban was lifted, 71% of all murders in Chicago were committed with handguns.

4. If a gun ban was forced upon America and law abiding citizens gave up their rights criminals would still have their guns. What are you going to do during a mass shooting?
