attending to precision to me is when the students make sure all units are labeled (miles per gallon, inches, square feet, etc). When answers are given such as x=3 they substitute 3 in for x to check that it is an actual solution. The attention to all the details and are able to ignore details that are not useful for them. Knowing when something should be left as a fraction or turn into a decimal

To me Attend to Precision means attend to the details of the solution (e.g. label units, identify what the answer means). It also means to make sure answer is correct by checking your answer.
