Rough Draft: The one day a week is taking a scientist or Engineer and introduce character traits
Using Flip Grid having students answer a question such as what does it mean to be  a thinker and the students need to respond to  2- others.

A different scientist the question changes to  Why do you think it is important for a scientist to be diligent   

Then a story is read  and right now I am searching for  readable books also so they can read the story.  
I will then have a form  for reading/listening  comprehension

The first story is about a boy who invented tv and at the end of the ELA.. They will become inventors following the design process. Example is a student creates a story telling box that allows her to produce her own stories. She will explain the design steps.  

Showcase your invention.  Via several methods of their choice Google has options class dojo has portfolio.
