What Italy said:&nbsp;</div><ul><li>Italy went into war with the “Triple alliance” but didn’t want to help/join war until they felt threatened.&nbsp;</li><li>The italians didn’t join the war until April 1915 with the Allies.&nbsp;</li></ul><div><br>2. What really happened:&nbsp;</div><ul><li>allied with Britain, France and Russia&nbsp;</li><li>Later changed sides to get more land</li></ul><div><br>3. At the treaty:&nbsp;</div><ul><li>Italy arrived at Versailles and Versailles was confident of the promise of the Austrian and African lands that would be for them and Australia was handed over to the Italians and the cities of Tentino, sad and Istria. upset.</li></ul><div><br>4.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Group Members: Eduardo Rodriguez, Xavier Gamez, Adriana Sanchez<br><br><br>1. What Japan said:<br>In order to put Germany under more pressure, Britain and France asked Japan to attack the Germans. In 1914 japan did not have sufficient natural resources.</div><div><br><br>2. What really happened:&nbsp;<br>Japan ran out of resources.<br>Japan declared war on Germany without anyone telling them.<br>Japan wanted to gain Germany land&nbsp;<br><br><br>3. At the treaty:&nbsp;<br>Japan went to the treaty expecting to be appreciated for their effort in the war. As a reward for helping they received some of Germany’s outposts, but not as much as they had hoped, which dissapointed Japan.</div><div><br><br>4. Japan's feelings:&nbsp;<br><br></div><ul><li>Japan felt frustrated for their part in world war I.</li><li>Japan felt left out because they didn’t really have a say in the treaty.</li><li>Japan walked out of the conference because of the treaty saying they have to stay out of South East Asia, and away from the oil rich fields of Indonesia.</li></ul><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

What USA said:<br>-The United States entered the war to protect their friends and ally’s.<br>-The United States was being forced to enter the war.<br>-Wanted to bring peace to the world.&nbsp;<br><br><br>2. What really happened:<br>-The U.S helped Germany with its allies when the war began, the allies of Germany<br>-They had lots in common with democratic Britain and France with the regimes of Germany and Austria .<br>-They had a shooting between the Germans and Belgium and the Belgian hostages and the bombing of the Gothic cathedrals in France.<br><br><br>3. At the treaty:&nbsp;<br>-The U.S felt obligated to establish the treaty with Germany's former colonies. &nbsp;<br>-After Paris peace, the U.S created a treaty with Germany.<br>-The U.S hid from former ties they have made<br>-That all changed in 1941 because the booming had happened.<br><br>4. What Serbia said:</div><ul><li>Serbia desired to liberate Bosnia, due to this and the assination of the future king of Austria caused by the freedom fighters, Austria declared war on Serbia which resulted in Serbia defeating Austria (after 5 years and help from allies) .&nbsp;</li></ul><div><br>2. What really happened: The Serbian politicians took a look at “The black hand”&nbsp; to assassinate the Archduke.Some Serbians even collaborate with the terrorist assassins. Serbia was depending in Russia to get involved.All the murders that were happening caused Austria&nbsp; to start World War I.<br><br>3. At the treaty:&nbsp;</div><ul><li>The homeland that Italy had been given its word of Italy would go against the Germans and Austrians .Serbia was allocated to massive amounts of the homeland of Austria.</li></ul><div><br>4. What Austria said:&nbsp;</div><ul><li>Austria said that they wanted to present themselves as victorious and wanted to move towards a Global Peace.</li></ul><div><br></div><div>2. What really happened:<br><br></div><ul><li>Austria would have to take a strong stance against Serbia after the assassination on the Archduke. If Austria didn't take said stance, than other lands would attempt similar methods of terrorism to achieve independence.&nbsp;</li></ul><div><br>3. At the treaty:&nbsp;<br>France didn’t want to make Italy to powerful and that was meant to protect French borders and France didn’t want to create a group that controls other ethnic&nbsp; groups<br><br>4. Austria's feelings: Industrial land was taken from Austria and that provided wealth, which made it difficult to pay off any reparations and made poverty a problem, but were later forgiven by the allies.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

France and the U.S asked so they can stop German colonial supplies from arriving to Germany</div><div><br><br><br>2. What really happened:&nbsp;</div><ul><li>Japan understood that without natural resources it could never industrialize to be one of the greatest powers. When the war started, Japan declared war on Germany without authorization. Although Japan did not ask their allies, it was useful for Japan to attack many colonies, they had something in mind to become the owners of certain colonies on German land.</li></ul><div><br><br><br><br>3. At the treaty: Japan expected all former colonial outposts. They were awarded some of the ex-German outposts but not as much as they wanted because they hoped for Papua New Guinea</div><div><br><br></div><div><br><br>4. Japan's feelings:&nbsp;</div><ul><li>Having received nothing, Japan decided to leave the conference and was frustrated by their participation in WWI. In addition, the results of the treaty kept Japan out of Southeast Asia and away from the rich oil fields in Indonesia.</li></ul><div><br><br></div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
