What I would do in that situation is exactly what Lou did, intervene, find out and understand why the child bullying is acting the way they are acting, and figure out a solution that benefits both the bully and the victim(s). Most individuals who bully usually have a reason for doing so. It's usually them mimicking behaviors they see in adults, their peers, or just a direct experience like J.J. had.
