What things are you now able to express in Spanish that you have learned in Spanish II

There are multiple subject that have been touched on with this course, and have taught me how to express, these subjects include talking about apartments like how I clean it, the area around it and the rooms in the apartments. I also learned about how to express my free time well in Spanish like what I did on the weekends, where I go, and maybe if I worked over the weekend. Another subject touched on in the course that helped is shopping, like talking about past shopping trips, the various types of payments, and traditional crafts. Those are the best subjects touched on the course that I throughly learned.

What differences have you seen between the Spanish language and your native language?

There are some differences between Spanish and English that I have noticed, one basic thing is how nouns have a gender in Spanish compared to English where that is not the case. There are is also a difference in the grammar, for example in Spanish adjetives come after the noun, and in Spanish there two different ways to talk in the past, preterite and imperfect.

It was really interesting to find out how similar Spanish culture can be to the US, but also how different it can be. One of the biggest and most interesting topics to me had to be school. There was a lot of similarities between the US and the Spanish culture with it, like for example the type of clases offered, the schedules, and the grade levels with their age.

I hope to continue to learn aspects of perhaps how businesses are run in the Spanish culture. Business is a topic that I would wish to learn about for every culture, and especially how business is done in the markets in Spain, that was always something very interesting to me. I would also love to learn the big differences in location in Spain, and if they have much different culture from each other.

What I really loved about the course was how everything is scheduled and organized, it helps with pacing myself and staying up to date with the course so I don't fall behind or miss anything. Another thing I enjoyed about the course was the live classrooms that were provided with real help and even provided an interactive part for the classroom. Some dislikes about the class is how sometimes looking at the course work is overwhelming since you get everything at once, which sometimes caused confusion and stress. Another problem I experienced was the audio parts of the course, where we had to listen and then answer the problem since sometimes I was hard to understand what the person said because of the quality which caused me to get problems wrong, when I could have gotten it right.

We have learned elements of a language in a different teaching/learning style than you may be used to. Talk about your experience with learning Spanish in an online class.

For this being my first experience with an online class I have a mainly positive experience. Learning a language online is a very different experience compared to a sit in class environment, but it works still, and I feel like it worked well with all my other classes I have as well. It is very efficient compared to a classroom and removes any time wasters that you have with classrooms. Also the availability of resources and help is outstanding, you can message the teacher, and even have a multitude of resources given for the course. The virtual classes is a way to touch on the content and review it that way you make sure you understand the content and can even get help if you don't understand something. So overall it is a great experience learning through this method.

There were many things that I did in order to help myself to learn Spanish in this course, I had scheduled myself along with the calendar in order to keep a good pace in the course. I also took lots of notes when we were given them with each lesson including the grammar presentations, so I could make sure to have everything I needed. I also made sure to do all of the practice assignment and make good grades on them even if it didn't affect my overall grade, but just to make sure I understood all of the content for each lesson.

There were many things my teacher helped with, especially in the beginning of the course, where she actually answered all of my questions I had for the course, since it was going to be my first time in an online course. The communication level for this type of course was great between the student and teacher, if I ever had an issue I always received feedback from my teacher to resolve it, and even got resources if I needed help with something. During the live classes my teacher also gave me a quality experience and time for questions that I had. There isn't anything my teacher did wrong or ever resolved for me throughout the time of the course.
