<title>UDL case study by Lucía Pérez</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/LuciaPerez11a/qmcokmgyr9v0lgxc</link>
<description>Ms. Lee teaches a 7th-grade EFL class with 28 students at an A2 level in a public school. Her classroom is diverse, with students who have different learning needs and challenges:

Nico – A student with dyscalculia, who struggles with sequencing and remembering time-related expressions like “half past” and “quarter to.”
Sofia – A highly gifted student who learns quickly and gets bored with repetitive activities.
Jorge – A student with cerebral palsy, who has limited mobility and finds writing physically difficult.
Mina – A student with social anxiety, who avoids speaking in front of the class.
Luis – A student with ADHD, who has trouble staying focused during long tasks.
Hana – A newcomer from Japan with limited English skills and minimal exposure to the Roman alphabet.
Ms. Lee wants to teach a lesson on &quot;Giving Directions&quot; (e.g., &quot;Turn left,&quot; &quot;Go straight,&quot; &quot;It&#39;s next to the bank&quot;). She needs to design a lesson that is inclusive and engaging for all students using UDL principles</description>

Moreover, the teacher might use online games about giving directions, where students like Jorge practice using their voices&nbsp;or&nbsp;writing.
