10 Unconventional ideas

1. Draw from observation or make an abstract piece of art and tape a pencil to the end of a ruler and draw.

2. Draw from observation or abstraction by dipping fingers in Ink and using it like paint.

3. Lay upside down and draw using either a pencil, pen or India Ink or paint.

4. find a branch or twig and draw with India Ink or paint from observation.

5. Use an eye dropper tool with India Ink and draw from observation having the ink splatter on the page to create the object.

6. Use a tennis or bouncy ball to draw an object or abstract art by covering it with ink and rolling it across the paper.

7. Have my dog tear up a piece of paper and then put those pieces of paper back together and draw on it.

8. Putting peanut butter on a plastic bag with a canvas inside with paint and have the dog lick the outside of the bag or put paint on the inside of the bag with a canvas and have the dog walk on the bag.

9. Use toes and feet with ink to draw on paper

10. Draw with my less dominant hand either with my eyes closed or while walking either from observation or abstract art

1- Use shaved foax fur glued to paper to draw
2- Nail polish or acrylic paint on my nails to build layers on different colored papers
3- Use maint on my knees to paint spare fabric
4- Marker or paint on cardboard which is then cut apart and made into a figure
5- Use glue with my left hand to make something on paper that is then drawn on with marker
6- Chalk with my left hand on colored paper cut and glued together
7- A different color paint on every toe onto paper
8- A primarily geometric form with flat surfaces drawn on with marker
9- Crayon held in randomized groups changed each time theyre lifted from the page
10- Collected old works of art/sketches cut to make a form with the cut out spaces and the scraps that come from the cut areas

Unconventional Drawing Methods

1. Use a q-tip dipped in a sticky substance.

2. Hold pencil or pen in between the knuckles

3. Have the pen be stationary and move the paper around.

4. Draw from observation but have the drawing under a distorted piece of glass.

5. Use plant matter as my drawing utensil, dip into ink and swipe across the paper.

6. Tape out sections of the drawing, draw over it and then take off the tape exposing negative space. Cover the other parts and start a new drawing over top.

7. Use a toothpick and ink to create an image.

8. Tape a marker to a remote control car and draw on a large piece of paper.

9. Have my nieces and nephews draw and then use that as collage paper to create an image.

10. Cover a surface with paint and then “carve” out the image using a paint knife.

2. Draw with left hand
3. Draw with foot
4. Finger-paint with acrylic paint
5. Finger-paint with ink
6. Make a piece with tape(?)
7. Draw while holding pencil/pen/brush in fist
8. Draw with some type of food
9. Finger-paint with food (the appropriate ones)
10. Draw with something other than pencil/pen/brush

Draw the object or thing upside down
Use a toy car to create a picture
Draw using your non dominant hand and draw on a wall
Use paper clips to create an image
Use a water bottle and tissue box to create art
Create art using numbers only
Use pieces of clothing to create a word from a helicopter view
Create art using different logos digitally (colors, sizes, shapes, etc.) by only being able to use your chin <----------- This is the one I'm probably going to do
