The Create 4 Spring Break Team

✨ This year’s theme is Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory!

Campers will step into a world of pure imagination—where creativity runs wild and every day brings a new adventure. Inspired by the magic and lessons of Wonka’s world, students will explore bold creativity, strong character, and the power of teamwork.

Through hands-on activities, they’ll create candy-colored artwork, design imaginative props, and bring stories to life through music, movement, and performance. Each day will feel like finding a golden ticket—full of color, discovery, and joy.

More than just art, campers will build confidence, form friendships, and unlock their own creative brilliance.

Create 4 Spring Break continues our mission to empower Baltimore youth through creativity, mentorship, and meaningful arts experiences—one imaginative moment at a time. 🍫🎨🎭

Whether you're wondering what to pack, when to arrive, or what your young artist will be creating all week, don’t worry you won’t need a golden ticket to figure it out. Here are some FAQ's we usually get every year.

We do this by:

1.) Providing during & afterschool arts-enrichment opportunities (art clubs, choir clubs, START, etc.)

2.) Engaging residents and activating the arts in W. Baltimore via our ARTreach initiative

3.) Cultivating safe spaces for youth to learn creative pathways to amplify their creative voices. (mentorship opportunities, Create 4 Spring Break, summer camp collab, etc.)

I’m officially punching my Golden Ticket for my first year at TAP, Inc.’s Create 4 Spring Break, and I’m ready to unwrap a week full of creativity, confidence, and pure imagination! With a background in psychology and a strong passion for mental health awareness, I’m committed to creating spaces where children feel safe, supported, and empowered to express themselves.

Here are a few fun facts about me:

🎵 Music is my love language, there’s always a playlist playing somewhere in my life.
💛 I’ll be graduating with my Master’s degree in May 2026.

In 2004, Erica attended Morgan State University and obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Science and Systems. During her matriculation at Morgan State, she was a member of the University's Modern Dance Ensemble and Marching Band Danceline.

She later received her MBA from Strayer University.

Ms. Erica has worked with us for 4 spring breaks, and we look forward to having her every year!
