1.- Teach in schools about gender equality.

Teaching in schools about this problem helps create awareness, education causes the problem but can solve it too.

The lack of school for women, the education at home and that causes gender inequality but it can also solve it if we make awareness about that in all communities, families, schools…

So this is a great opportunity not only for gender equality, but also for improving the educational system, and we need this because of that.

2.- Promote scholarships for women.

Scholarships destined for women are so common and especially in those countries that they have a lot of problems with gender inequality but they are trying to change that. Basically if you give money to the parents or family of a women only for allow her go to the school, that parents or family will allow her do that because it’s convenient for them and as a collateral consequence you promote gender equality because that family next will see that go to the schools it’s good for her child.

So we need this because in some undeveloped countries women don’t have academic education because of their parents' beliefs.

3.- Promote recognition of women achievements (but obviously the real ones).

It is obvious and a lot of organizations that are doing it but sometimes they use to show recognition for women that are a bit controversial for any reason not because of her gender, but because of the achievement and what it has behind… so we should promote this but with caution and don’t try to only recognize political agenda.

This is necessary because some inferiority beliefs of women and superiority of men is because they don’t see or hear about women’s achievements and when they do it is like an exception.

4.- Interview periodically the employed people to check the salary between women and men.

This can be a good rule to accomplish the equality laws to be sure that all the enterprises, bosses, also the State is paying to a person based on their qualities, abilities, experience… and not based on their gender.

The problem is that it would be too difficult to do because it needs a lot of administration and organization movements, probably it would need something like an inspector of salary equality.

So we should do this because a lot of salary inequality is caused by the bosses that don’t have regulation from others so they can choose the salary of each one as they want.

5.-Progressive prohibition of single-sex schools.

There are the negative effects of single sex schools that are segregation, discrimination, less opportunities for experiences, and a lot of things more. But this doesn’t mean that single-sex schools are inherently bad because there is a situation where they are pretty good and it’s the case when they are used like a transitional form of school to change between a society without women or girls in school to a society that accepts female gender in schools. For example, in some Muslim countries that allow female gender academic education the single-sex schools are too common being the vast majority but that’s because they are starting to include women and they have a lot of path to achieve it.

So, obviously we need to prohibit single-sex schools because it promotes inequality but it needs to be progressive because it can be also a good step in some undeveloped countries.
