Hello everyone! My name is Wally, a water droplet! Today, I am going to tell you all about the daily adventures I face everyday! It all starts in my home, the sea! Together, my friends and I will first go through a stage called evaporation. This is where we will gain heat from the surrounding air and evaporate into water vapour. If there are a change in temperature or there are strong winds, that will also increase the rate of evaporation. So does having a more exposed area too! Then, we will go through the next stage which is condensation. In this stage, when we, in the surrounding air, comes in contact with the cool air, we will lose heat to it and condenses into water droplets in the sky. This is why and how clouds are formed! Lastly, when it rains, we will be brought back to the sea and the whole water cycle repeats itself! Did you know, water can be in three stages. Solid, liquid and gas! For solid, we can be in ice cubes. For liquid, well, it is very obvious, it can be in water. Last but not the least, we have gas, which can be in water vapour! It is very important conserve water as it is very precious. For example, the water you drink! Without water, we will die of thirst. The usage of water happens everyday! Washing, cleaning, watering... These are just a few of the usage of water! So, make sure to not waste water! My adventure story ends here! I hope you have enjoyed this thrilling adventure! Till next time!

Write a story of maximum 50 words on an adventure that you, as a water droplet, takes in the space below. Include ALL the points below. 1) The three interchangeable states of matter 2) The different processes in water cycle 3) The three factors that affect the rate of evaporation 4) The importance of water for life processes 5) The need for conservation

Hello! I am a water droplet and I have been through it all and I would like to share with you all the things that I go through. The water cycle begins when my friends and I are in a liquid state, we then evaporate into our gaseous state as water vapour and reach the sky, where we turn into clouds! When there are too many of us, we condense and drop out of the sky as water droplets, and that’s how you get rain! Then, the cycle goes on over and over again. But if the surrounding is cold enough, we will turn into ice and be in a solid state.

Now, I would like to share with you the factors affecting the rate of evaporation: wind, temperature of the surrounding and exposed surface area. Water is very important for life processes such as movement, respiration, growth, reproduction, excretion and nutrition as water is directly involved in many chemical reactions to build and break down important components of the cell. Humans need to conserve water as conserving water saves energy. Energy is needed to filter, heat and pump water to your home, so reducing your water use also reduces your carbon footprint. Using less water keeps more in our ecosystems and helps to keep wetland habitats topped up for animals like otters, water voles, herons and fish.

It has been wonderful to be your guide to my life and the other things I’ve talked about today!

There once was a water droplet which wrote a diary about the adventure he would go through every day. Right here, right now you get to read it.

Day 1: This is my first time writing a diary and I am writing about the adventure I have every day. It all starts in the sea, you might think that it is cool and fun to live in the sea and chill with sharks and fish. No. Every day is a struggle to survive trying not to be drunk by a goldfish.

Day 2: I am gaining heat from the sun and slowly evaporating into water vapour. After a few minutes, I am a gas. The temperature of the surrounding air, exposed surface area of the water, and presence of wind can affect the rate of evaporation. Now I am condensing unto water droplets and becoming a white fluffy cloud. How fun is that.

Day 3: I wake up and I hear my water droplet friends screaming while we all plummet to the ground. I hit the ground, blank out and the last thing I heard was my heartbeat. Then silence.

Day 4: I wake up in the sea again. It turns out that my best friend Patrick dragged me into the sea, my home.

Day 5: This is what I go through every day. I am very important as without me, the world would die. Animals, plants, humans and other things will cease to exist. All living things need water to survive, whether it is for drinking or for life processes. Water can be used for electricity. To sum up, water is very important.

Day 6(ending): Since I am so important, people should conserve water so that fresh water will not run out so quickly. To do so, people should take short showers, not leave the tap on while brushing their teeth and reuse the water.

This is the end of my diary. Bye

hello am a water droplet am gonna tell you where I have been going as a water droplet. My friends and I are in liquid state and gained heat from the sun. We evaporated and turned into water vapour which is gas. we rise up to the sky. My friends and I condensed in the cool sky and crowded together and it was very squeezy as we formed one big cloud. we turned into hail as we was in north of Russia and it was very cold. we were to big and heavy we fell down. I fell on a person's can and made a dent on the car. it was very funny so I told my friends to land on the same place. Together, we made a hole right through the car and was inside. a person was screaming as he realized that we had made a hole on his car. He was very angry so he stomped on us . we melted there .we gained heat from the carpet and evaporated. we condensed in the sky and this time, we rained down as liquid and landed on a rainforest. when we rained down, it is called precipitation. temperature, presence of wind and exposed surface area affects the rate of evaporation. if you did not have my friends or i, you would have died of dehydration or your digestive system will not work. if you did not have me, all the marine animals would have died even your goldfish, and all the pets you have. you need to conserve water because you living things( i am not a living thing as i am a water droplet)need clean water to drink.

Hi everyone! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wade. Come along with me on this exciting adventure about what I do every day so you get to see my usual job and how I play an important role in many lives. Come on!
First, I would start my interesting job at my usual haunt, the sea. I would always meet my friend, the sun. He helps me a lot in my process of evaporation where I would get heat from the surrounding air or the sun and evaporate. You would not be able to see me as I evaporated into water vapor, so I am now invisible. Not only does gaining heat make me evaporate but if strong wind arises, I would evaporate faster. Oh yeah! Having the temperature of the surroundings increase or having a more exposed surface area will benefit me as well! Then, I will be going through a fun process called condensation! Curious to know? Let me tell you more! We will start to lose heat to the surrounding air and condense into water droplets in the sky and that is how you get your lovely and fluffy white clouds. Aren't I a superwoman to get into the sky? Then when it starts to rain we will be brought back home and we will start our thrilling adventure all over again. This is what we call, the water cycle where it would keep on repeating itself.
I am not only a normal water droplet you think but I can do magic and transform into 3 states. I can turn into ice which will be solid. Then I can be ice water which is in a liquid state. Also, I can be water vapor which is in the gaseous state, or I usually will call it, the invisibility.
The water cycle that I thought you is very important. You might wonder why this water cycle is important? Well, this is to provide a continuous water supply to all living things like you! If you had no water, you will be dehydrated and fall sick easily. I can't even imagine that. Can you? So it is best to conserve the water we drink and use in our everyday life. Let me share with you some easy tips you can start by. You can wash your healthy vegetable in a container instead of running it under a tap or you can even take shorter showers instead of dancing and singing in the shower and taking up gallons of water. We use water in different ways such as drinking, cleaning or even bathing but can we learn to conserve the precious water that keeps us hydrated throughout the dreaded hot days.
So, I hoped you learnt a lot about my daily, fun job and I really like this so if you want to learn more, be sure to conserve the precious water. I am sad to announce that I have to get back as if I don't you will get dehydrated. It was a lot fun talking to you today about the water cycle and about the many wonders a single water droplet like me can do. I will end my journey with you here! Until next time, This is wade, raining off!

Hi everyone! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wade and I am a water droplet at work. Let me tell you about the exciting work that I do everyday. I would always wake up at my usual haunt, the sea! My friend, the sun will help me in my work as well. First, I would gain heat from the surroundings and evaporate into water vapor which you won't be able to see anymore and that is how my friends and I got the familiar nickname, 'the invisible droplet'. I would always wish to evaporate faster and that is when some others will come along such as the strong wind or the increase in the temperature of the surrounding air. Having a greater exposed surface area would increase my rate of evaporation. Cool right? Then, we would go through a fun process called, condensation. Curious to know more? Let me explain! This is the stage where we would then lose heat to the surrounding air and condense to form tiny water droplets in the sky. That is how you get your fluffy white clouds which would later on 'cry' us out and make you wet. Oops! That is another way we got our second nickname, 'the flying droplet'. It is then when it starts to rain, we will be returned back, the sea to and we would repeat this processes all over again. This is what we call, ' The water cycle'. This cycle will keep on repeating itself. You might actually think that I am just a normal water droplet right? Well, I got you wrong. I can transform into 3 different states. I can become ice, which is in the solid state. I can turn into water as well, which is in the liquid state and last but not least I can become the invisible water vapor which is in the gaseous state. Remember I told you about a water cycle. I forgot to explain that. The water cycle also known as a hydrological cycle provides a continuous supply of water to all living things like you! Imagine a world without the water cycle. Do you know how much water you conserve and how much you waste? Everyone wastes 2 times more water than saving water. If we do not conserve water, we would feel dehydrate and we would easily fall sick. I really think you would not wish to fall sick will you? Some tips about how we can conserve water are, washing your vegetables in a container with water instead of running it under a tap. Take shorter showers as well instead of taking long showers by singing and dancing in the shower. We use water in many ways such as drinking, cleaning, bathing and many more but let's learn and start to conserve water. I hoped you learnt a lot today and thanks for coming along with me in my thrilling adventure and I hoped you enjoyed. If you want to learn more about me, make sure to conserve water. Until next time, This is wade, ' raining off '. Bye!

Oooh, where am I ? Oh! This is the sea. Hello my friends , I am Lily, a water droplet. I can change into the three states of matter; solid liquid and gas. Today I will be explaining how I got into the sea and how my life is going to be. First I got precipitated by a condensed cloud. Then, I fell into a lake. Through the underground hole, I got transfered into this sea. It is sunny. I think I am going to evaporate into water vapour. Evaporation is the process where a substance at a liquid state changes into a gaseous state. Oh, it is windy too! Ahh, I got evaporated into water vapour. Did you know? Wind, Exposed surface area and temperature of the surrounding affects the rate of evaporation. The higher, larger or even stronger it is, the faster the rate of evaporation. Now I am going to go through condensation. Now I am going to lose heat to a cooler air and condenses into a water droplet and fall into the sea. My life continuous like this everyday. I am also useful in life processes. Humans need me in their human systems like the digestive system. I help to break down the food into smaller pieces and in the circulatory system I help to transport oxygen, carbon dioxide, food and water. Plants need me to survive as they cannot make food without water. If plants die, the humans will die due to the the unsuffixent amount of oxygen. You can also conserve water by taking a short shower and do not turn on the tap when you are brush. By doing this you can help save water. That's it for today. I think you will find this information useful.

Hello everyone! My name is H2O and I am a little water droplet wanting to tell a story.
I was born in the arms of Mother ocean along with many other water droplets. I had a lovely childhood.
One day, the sun was shining so bright and the day was so hot! I started gaining heat from the surroundings and evaporated into water vapour!
Together with my water droplet siblings which were now water vapour, we came into contact with the cooler surrounding, lost heat and condensed into water droplets and we became the droplets of a great big, fluffy cloud. That was all until we were all too heavy for our big cloud. No sooner, we were all sent falling back to Earth. Before our descent, the big fluffy cloud told us that we were one of the elements living things on Earth depended on and advised us to serve well. Before long, we were all speeding head-first towards Earth.
Upon reaching down, we got separated from one another. Some of us landed on the streets, and others landed on yellow umbrellas little children were carrying. Exceptionally, I fell into a great big river near the city and the big pipes there carried me into the MacRitchie reservoir. It was only then that I heard the horror stories of humans polluting water bodies and wasting water! I then heard that water on Earth was limited and needed for daily life purposes, like cooking, showering, and drinking. Thus, humans should learn the conserved water and not waste them!
On one particular day that I could never forget, I woke up, finding myself in a weird surrounding. Soon, I realised I was in a yellow bottle, belonging to Reese, a student of a Science teacher, Miss Val. "I must have been filtered through NeWater factory and ended up in her bottle!" I thought to myself. In that particular Science lesson, Miss Val was teaching the students about the water cycle! What a coincidence!
Miss Val explained that water could be in three different states; solid, liquid, and gas! She also explained that 4 factors that affected the rate of evaporation (the one which I would turn from the liquid state to the gaseous state) are the exposed surface area, the presence of wind, humidity, and the temperature! For example, if the wind is very strong, water will evaporate faster! What an interesting lesson!
Anyway, I hope you have enjoyed my journey. See ya!

Hello everyone! I am a water droplet! Today I will tell you about the adventures I go on quite often. First my family and I will start in the gigantic sea. It is amazing because many different sea creatures live there. Yes, I sometimes get swallowed up by a fish but I come out of their other end by the next day.

Soon, I go through a stage called evaporation. It happens because I gain heat from the surrounding air and evaporate into water vapour! Sometimes the temperature is higher or the winds are stronger so the rate of evaporation increases! More exposed surface area to the surrounding air also increases the rate of evaporation.

Then, I go through a stage called condensation. In this stage, when I (in the surrounding air) come in contact with air that is of a lower temperature, I will lose heat to the air and condense back into water droplets way up in the sky. This is also how clouds are formed!

Last but not least, when the cloud I condensed into has too many water droplets in it and cannot support the water droplets' weight, we will go falling down back into the sea. The cycle repeats itself everyday.

Let me tell you a little more about myself. Did you know that I can be in three states? Sometimes when it is too cold, I can freeze into a solid, that solid is ice. And whenever I evaporate into water vapour, I am in the gaseous state. I am a water droplet most of the time which is a liquid.

You should also use my friends and I (water) wisely because you can do many things with me like drink me, wash plates, do laundry and also bathe. Me and the whole of waterkind is very precious because living things including you, need to drink us to survive. So remember, DO NOT, UNDER ANY CURCUMSTANCES, WASTE WATER OR I WILL END YOU! Just kidding, I will not end you but If you waste me, you will also meet your demise because of the exesive lack of water. That is the end of my story everyone, I hope my life is interesting to you. See you next time.

Hi! My name is Walter, and im a water droplet. Most of the time, I am in the sea, talking with my friends and trying not to get evaporated. Wind, exposed surface area and temperature can affect the rate of evaporation. Usually, i am able to survive another day and not evaporate, but today, I was not so lucky. My friends and I were caught off guard by a gust of wind, and we started to evaporate. I screamed, pain engulfing me. I look around, and saw my friends evaporate too. Soon, the pain stopped, and i was now water vapour, a gas. Water can actually exsist in 3 states of mater: solid, liquid and gas.
I tried to stay close to my friends while floating up to the air. After some time, I started to condense into tiny water droplets, and soon a big cloud was formed with other tiny water droplets. I fell asleep, praying nothing bad would happen.
I woke up to the sounds of rushing winds surrounding me. I realised that i was falling to the ground at fast speeds. I screamed, my friends screaming too. I watched as water droplets hit lampost and buildings. Soon I hit the ground next to the sea, my friend jasmine beside me. I asked where the others were, but she did not know. We slid into the lake near us, trying to spot our friends, but to no avail.
I blacked out soon after Jasmine and I reached the lake. I knew that this process would happen again and again.
I am very important to nature because i help all living things like plants and animal live. Without me animals would die of thirst and plant will die. If plants die, there will be no oxygen, meaning eventually, all species would die.
You can help conserve water by not showering for too long, offing the tap when not in use, use the water you use to wash vegtables to water your plants. Try thinking of your own ways too! I hope you follow my advice.

Hello,KIDS.My name is WaTeR dRoPlEt and I am here today to share with you the life of mine;0.Firstly,water is the only thing that can interchange between the 3 states of matter:solid, liquid and gaseous. If we gain heat,we can melt and go from solid to liquid or boil and go from liquid to gaseous. If we lose heat,we can condense and go from liquid to gaseous, and freeze to go from liquid to solid. There are 3 factors that affect our rate of evaporation. They are the amount of exposed surface area, the presence of wind and surrounding tempearture. It is important to have the water process and cycle so we can maintain the balance of water and other matter in this world. We hope you can conserve us,knowing we are important!;)

I am a water droplet called peter and I would like to tell you about my adventure, which I name it: the water cycle! I started on the sea surface. I felt cold so I gain heat from the surroundings which is warmer. suddenly expended a little! what happened? I wandered. however, I did not care much and kept gaining heat. then I faced the consequence of that. I became bigger and bigger. Finally, I separated into a lot of little water molecules, which means I had evaporated! since I was too light, i started rising upward into the sky and reached the clouds! it was very cold here, so i lose heat to the surrounding and i condenses back into a water droplet! i am finally back to normal. however, before i could celebrate, i found that i was too heavy! i fell down from the sky along with other water droplets and ended up in the river. we went down the waterfall, going through the hydropower stations. i am finally back into the sea again.

Hi! I'm a water droplet💧! I can exsist in 3 different states of matter...Solid,Liquid and Gas. Now...let me tell you about the adventures that I have gone through.
I started my adventure in a pond. I was happily in the pond having fun with my friends. When suddenly on a sunny day, I gained heat from the warm air at near the surface of the water and evaporated into water vapour. 'I'm floating!' I shout as this has never happened to me before.I then realised that my friends and I were in gaseous state. Just then, I felt a strong gust of wind, the wind made the rate of evaporation increase!
Soon I lost heat to the cooler air in the sky and condensed back into my former self, a water droplet. I looked around and saw that all my friends were packed tightly together and had formed a cloud. The cloud soon became heavy and we started falling from the sky, creating rain. I had landed in the a lake. The cycle continues to repeat and repeat.
My friends and I are very important for the survival of all living things, because all living things need water. The lack of water can cause dehydration. There is also only 3% of water is safe for drinking. So please conserve and do not waste water. You can conserve water by not littering into drains or water, and using a mug when brushing teeth. Simple acts like that can make a huge difference. So start saving water today!

" Yay! Im so excited for today! Why u ask? Well to day is my first time experiencing the magical water cycle everyone in my town is always talking about. Its time about time I start feeling hotter and start to be more hyper. Doesnt that sounds so cool already? After that, i will become transparent water vapour, called gas. There are 3 states of water. The first one is in the solid state which means i will be as hard as ice. Wait i will be ice! the second one is liquid state, i was in that state before i gained heat. The third one is the gaseous state, the one i am in right now! If i am lucky, i can meet windy wind or even the great and mighty sun. Then i will go through a process called condensation, i will lose heat and become water droplets again. Do you know that clouds are made of tiny water droplets? Extra knowledge! When it rains, i can go back to my hometown! You humans must also do your part so that you dont die of thirst. Do you know that you guys washing your clothes some of you guys dont even wash it at full load! Such a waste of water and resources. Well thats it from me, signing off, tiny little water droplets

Hi I am a water droplets. I was named by this merciless creatures called humans. They drink us and do many different different thinks with us. Without water they cannot survive. So many humans conserve us like washing on a full load or check for leakage and many more. The form we like most is gas. It is because the molecules are all spread out and it is comfortable. The change of state is affected with exposed surface area, presence of wind and surrounding temperature. when we gain or lose heat our molecules vibrate. When I lose heat I become solid and our molecules become really cramped together and vibrate.
