It is regularly used in language learning to have student create a story book in multiple languages. Students can draw an image and include a written or oral component alongside it. They read on their own, and they also have various levelled reading systems you can choose from and assign books from that level. We do 1 break out group a day on Teams where I assign the same book to each student in a small group of the same level, and we do guided reading together.
