Isla de Providencia, is a Caribbean island that is part of the Colombian department of Archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina. Next to it is another smaller island called Santa Catalina, which is separated by a natural channel with 150 m wide. Santa Catalina and Providencia are linked by the "Lovers' Bridge"

Providencia Island has an area of 17 square kilometers and its maximum elevation is 360 meters (1,180 ft) above sea level. It is 7 km long and 4 km wide. It is located 90 km north of the island of San Andrés.

Diving and snorkeling are widely practiced due to the coral reefs, the wealth of marine fauna and flora, and the transparent waters
