I believe that emperor Qin was a good leader, as he showed values of intelligence, planning skills, and he connected the country.

First, I would like to address is his intelligence. He standardised the measuring systems of length, weight and capacity in order to improve trade throughout China. As well as improving numerical aspects, he also simplified the Chinese writing system, providing clearer communication across the country. The modern Chinese language, is based on his new system from nearly 4,000 years ago.

Next, is his development of the infrastructure of China. He connected the different kingdoms of China through the Great Wall for defence, and to connect trade routes which would benefit China. He did this by joining the many walls together and this incredible structure is still standing today. He also built many roads and a canal system.

And finally, although he was a ruthless ruler, harsh punishments were common in this time of history and many systems and laws of China today are built upon his past achievements. Also, many people think that because he didn’t physically build the Great Wall, his admirable planning meant nothing. But this is not true. This is why I believe that his achievements outweighed his mistakes.

Personally, I think emperor qin was a bad leader because he did force people to do what he wanted to do, even his own son!

He thought everyone in China was out to get him but really all they wanted to do was live a nice, happy life without getting killed by him. I reckon if he did not force people to do it his way, people might have liked him and followed him because he did do a lot of good things like coming up with the idea to build the great wall of China, which is now one of the best-known landmarks in China. However, the ways we wanted to bring his ideas to life was not the best way to make people like him. He forced people into a lot of physical labour like making them work on the wall day and night even if they did not want to. Therefore, for all these reasons I think he is a bad and argumentative leader.

I believe emperor qin is a good leader because firstly he created a currency in china  each enables citiizes  tomake money. If we didn’t have money none would fi d the need to open a shop  so it will bbe hard to get basic necessities like milk or bred
