2. " In February, Harvard researchers published an explosive paper in Geophysical Research Letters. Using satellite data and ground observations, they concluded that the nation as a whole is leaking methane in massive quantities." pg 1
3. This scientifically explains a reason for global warming. Methane is heating up the earth because of all the chemicals. 
4. The conclusion that the author draws is that global warming is from pollution and putting the earth in danger with chemicals. 
5. 3. This is an effective quote selection because it tells what is polluting the air and where it is the worst. The air is being polluted by coal, oil and other fossil fuels being burned. 
4. The conclusion that the author draws is that we are polluting the earth with non renewable resources and they are only making the climate worse. The atmosphere is becoming weaker because of our carelessness and lack of motivation in helping change the issue of global warming. 
5. The authors conclusion relates to my topic question because it is showing reason for global warming and climate change and it adds to my argument that it is a very serious
