i have longboarded  just for a few months and a lot of people have asked me that question.
Well actually the longboard is similar to a regular skateboard but with the difference that it is much longer,  wider and with big urethane wheels.

As the new styles appear new types of boards appear with them.
The reason why the longboarding has improved is by trying new things, cause if the longboarder didn´t try to do the first dance step or to throw himself from that downhill probably the longboarding wouldn´t be what is right now.
