2. Which branch do you think is the foundation of the others? Why?
Epistemology could be considered the foundation of all other branches because before we can meaningfully explore morality, beauty, or politics, we must first understand how we know what we claim to know. Without examining the sources, limits, and reliability of our knowledge, our beliefs about reality, ethics, or art might be built on unstable ground. Epistemology equips us with the tools to question assumptions, seek truth, and build reasoned conclusions, which the other branches depend on.

3. How does this activity help you see philosophy as a part of everyday life?

This activity makes me realize that philosophy isn’t just an academic subject — it’s part of every choice and thought I have each day. When I question why something is true, decide how to treat others, appreciate a sunset, or evaluate news critically, I’m practicing philosophy. It shapes the way I view the world, the meaning I assign to events, and the values I uphold. In this way, philosophy becomes not just a subject to study but a lens through which I live my life.
