Personally I defenetly dont like to use it but i had a chance to try it during my flat renovation. And as i understood all the workers like to use it sometimes even between themselves. So it's always your personal choice how to argue or stick to your point and what language to use

Only Spain could resist a little in the race of spreading the language all over the world(That's why Southern America is almost totally speaking Spanish). During the colonization process English people left marks almost on all continents, creating new settlements, governments etc. And the official language spoken in this created elements was English, with that the clear superiority of English as a nation over common folks in the colonies made English language one of the ways to receive some profit, respect and status.
