Marvin thinks he won't find the family because he thinks they got killed by gunfire.
Noah thinks Salva might only find one family members.. maybe his dad. He might have been fighting in the war.
Ryan thinks he might find the mom since men have more chance of dying since they might end up fighting in the war.
Donovan thinks he will find his family. That they escaped.

Noah got lost in Ikea and thought they left without him. He thought he would have to walk home.
Daiven got lost at the supermarket.. he was scared and so he sat down and waited!
Donovan got lost at the PNE.. they had a family meeting spot but when he went there his mom wasn't there. He was really scared.
Munroop's cousin got lost on a walk.. he started following someone he thought was his mom but wasn't. He wasn't scared. 

Tyler would feel scared and would feel he had to run away from the fighting but would find a hiding space so he could stay 

Miss Ling's sister got lost in Zellers.. and she got the people to page her mom because her "Mom was lost".. she was not scared at all. She got lost, a LOT!
