It has no access to the sea and it is surrounded by land from all sides.
With an area of 207,600 km², Belarus is the largest landlocked country in Europ. Compared, it is somewhat smaller than the island of Great Britain (229,848 km²), or slightly smaller than the US state of Kansas.
