1. Pap sues Judge Thatcher for Huck’s fortune and continues to threaten Huck about attending school.
2.  Pap kidnaps Huck, takes him deep into the woods to a secluded cabin on the Illinois shore.

Chapter 7

1. Huck finds a canoe drifting in the river and hides it in the
   woods.
2. Huck plans to escape, but make the cabin look like it has been robber and he was killed.
3. Huck gets in the canoe and goes to Jackson’s Island.
