         <description><![CDATA[<div>Perform a basic assessment to group students (Holland Assessment)<br>Group Activity: Group students in like results. Perform activity, then group individuals in diverse groups to perform same activity to show the difference between like minded and groups of diversity.<br>Activity: Use a current common topic, such as, immigration and the political party views.  Use an exit ticket for the group to decide  if the party views are fair or not fair. <br>Handouts: Need political party view points on immigration.<br>Group roster sheet.  <br>feedback on other group responses.  <br>Discussion sheet on the effect of immigration in Congress.  <br>Final Thoughts: Pick a group Idea that is not agree with, and talk about how we can reach a comprise (allowing students to use 6 steps to conflict resolution)<br>Can be developed into a cross curricular activity .<br>Explain that individuals are going to bring their own world views to any discussion and their own values.
