Don't allow yourself to fall behind. Buy the CIPD book, yes it's expensive but will be used throughout your whole HR journey.

  • Buy the CIPD people practive book

  • Attend all college lessons

  • Mindful - answer the questions as you listen to the videos and print out smaller versions of the content.

  • Try and reference/use appendices as much as possible to get higher marks.

  • Assignment 3CO04 - write assignment as you go so you don’t fall behind.

  • Number your assignment pages, do a word count and use font 12 😊

  • First assignment is the hardest.. don’t worry it gets easier!!

  • Keep Calm all will be well don’t be afraid to ask for help. Des is great and everyone is learning together so will be supportive

  • Be disciplined and use your time wisely get a routine going and you will be fine

  • Don’t overthink it!!!!!!!!

  • Give yourself more time on Mindful than it says when you start out as it takes time to get used to it

  • You get out what you put in

  • If I can do it anybody can do it – don’t forget to enjoy yourself

    Make sure to read CIPD factsheets and refer to the CIPD People Practice Complete Guide—it’s great for teasing out ideas for your assignments.

    Attending the lessons was the most valuable part for me.
    They provided direction for assignments, helped clarify key points, and broadened my understanding of what I had learnt online.
