Can VCE students choose to do a VCE vocational subject as part of their studies (does it go to ATAR)?

This is what we are waiting on. At this stage the VCE Vocational Major subjects will not have an exam and are still running off a 'competency based' assessment model and not the scored assessment model like the current VCE.  

From the current proposal students can choose from the VCE Vocational Major offering but we have no information as to how this contributes to their ATAR or if it can at all. The VRQA are the ones that will decide on this.
