The timbre makes a monumental difference between the two transcriptions. The piano making the piece have a more passionate feeling. The Dynamic make these pieces emotional and heartfelt , the contrasting between the themes and volume represent the emotional of the moment.

I am currently practicing it slowly and steadily speeding the song up, as you do with classical pieces.

The ideas I come up with come from the music I listen to, it effects what my ear consider "good" or "musical" , the music I listen to effect what I hear in my head when listening to a piece I wish to transcribe or make, a trill here or there or an arpeggio.

Based on the first practice period of your new piece, how does understanding the structure and context of musical works inform musical performance?
–After my first practice session , I analyzed the piece and broke down the piece from note to note. Slowly and meaningfully is how Mr Bernstar(Stein) taught us. Taking the time and going through the piece and understanding the movements, dynamics and texture.

How and what steps can you take to improve your song in this piece?
–Well, learning the piece entirely would surely improve the piece. All jokes aside that would make the piece of music vastly more enjoyable to listening to.

Usually the piece in currently in love with will have a similar key or modulate to it via secondary dominate , because that's the best way to modulate.

Howls Moving Castle Theme
SHMRG Aspects-
Sound- Has an Orcha Grand piano accompaniment
Harmony- The song has many chord progressions and variations, but the main theme has a progression of iv, V7 /i , i6, i6/4, iv7, VII7 and III7 in the key of Gminor.
Rhythm- The piece is in 3/4 then in the middle of the piece it grows to 4/4, still retaining the waltzy feel of the piece, but modulating to the relative Major
Theme- The theme is nothing short of beautiful, the peaceful melody give you a feeling of a lovely afternoon. Makes you want to dance and be swept away with the wind. And "has a hint of coconut" - David Chidsey
Growth-The piece starts with sequencing up wards to the tonic, then arpeggiating up an octave. Afterwards, the main then is established, the strings come in and sort of expands the theme, gives it the liveliness that makes the piece memorable. Then with the variation that changes the tempo and time signature to 4/4. It transforms from peaceful, waltzy and mysterious to avante feel, a moving forward movement.

What is make music good?
Well, lets think about how we judge a piece of music, we can use the basics established by time and teachers of the old. The ways we've been judging for centuries. Which is a great way to start but, I believe it would be poor to apply old practices such as criticism to new pieces. Reason being, pieces evolve from their predecessors, it is saturated by the time period, culture and the people around the composer.
To sum it up, you would want to have a basic understanding of music, such as SHRMG and classical criticism, but be mindful of your surroundings.
I'm asked the question of, how would analysing and understanding of music help one create music or a playlist similar to the ones we have already.
Well, Mr Bernstein who is listening to this podcast, you are essentially setting the parameters for yourself. Like assignments you are asked for a main topic and form your own opinion using facts , your piece is the topic and the facts are your technique you have refined my either composing or understanding a certain genre of music. But what makes the piece specular is the opinions the composer puts into it.
