Since when I was a child, I've always liked the idea of helping people. And what's better than a nurse for this?

My aunt is a nurse and she was the one that inspired me in this choice.

Doing "General Nursing", I have been lucky to have this occasion of working with children, because even when it's a bad day, they always manage to put a smile on your face. I am loving this first year of internship because it's convincing me everyday about what I want to do in my future.

I am glad of what I am doing and my family is proud of me, too.

I've always liked TV series more than movies, because "they never have an end".
When I talk about TV series I mean mostly medical drama: Chicago Med, The Good Doctor but especially Grey's anatomy. This serie makes me emotional every time I watch it, it represents the bonds between people that are created in the hospital, because being everyday and for the whole day there, the people you get more close to are your colleagues, because they are the only ones that will always get you at 100%.
This serie also represents the love healthcare professionals have for this job, the constance and the dedication in the studying and doing everyday more for the Medicine.

How did you feel about your first rotation? What ward were you in?

My first day of rotation isn't that far back in time. I still feel that eagerness to start. It was obviously a "good anxiety", but I was afraid that doing this first rotation I would have realised that I actually didn't like this so much. Instead, this confirmed all my doubts. The nurses tutors have been nice and ready to teach me, since the beginning, the children always put a smile on my face. Nowadays when I go to the hospital I am happy because I am convinced of what I want to do in my future.
Obviously I didn't know how to work in an hospital department, but slowly I got used to it, sometimes doing some mistakes.
My first internship day was in traumatology department, I really liked it.
There, there's never a boring moment and I love having always something to do.
I really hope my internship path will always go like this because I am very happy and proud of what I am doing.
