Safety Precautions: Make sure each young person has an open space. Preferably outside on grass to avoid strain on joints. If the young person does not have access to a garden or grass area, go to an open room in their home and use a yoga matt to create a soft workout area. If they do not have access to a yoga matt, they can use a towel as a substitute. All young people are to wear workout shoes, and other appropriate clothing to allow for no restrictions to their workout experience, while workout shoes will allow for gripping on their workout area to avoid slipping and injuries. Inform all the young people to be aware of their body limits. Tell them not to push themselves too far, as this will result in injury. If they have any questions about the exercises, they can approach their youth worker via WhatsApp or Zoom, where the youth worker will go into more detail in how to the stretches or exercise correctly.

In order to embed elements of TPSR and decision making include statements in the warm up and cool down content
Warm Up
- During this activity you will be working some muscles that you may not have used much of before such as bicep and tricep (arms). So if you feel pain or strain at any stage slow down and stop the activity.
- Go at your own pace there are 3 trainers in the video with each doing different speed and intensity levels follow which person suits your ability best.
- Concentrate on your own workout be mindful that each person has different abilities and respect that.
- If you wish to turn off your camera that is fine too
Cool Down
- How was the workout for you?
- Were there any exercises you felt more comfortable at than others
- Did you need to add weights for certain exercises
- Do any specific parts of your body feel stiff ? Quads {front of upper leg}, Hamstrings {back of upper leg} ,Core, Biceps {arms} (Facilitator could suggest specific exercises/stretches to aid recovery)
- Do you think you will use any of these exercises when doing exercise again?
