- The classroom was set up in pods 
- The teacher had cloud like coverings over the lights because there were no windows and she wanted to make it feel as natural as possible

- This teacher was my advanced math teacher when I was in middle school so it was nice being able to catch up with her and observe her for so long.

- While I was there, the classes were reviewing and taking tests. 
- He allowed the classes to use their reviews but didn't tell them until after he gave them time to go over them so they would actually study.

- I could tell being in the classroom that he had really good relationships with all of his students. 
- One of his students seemed upset about something and he could tell so he sat her down and talked with her 1-on-1 for a while.

- I thought it was really interesting how close he was to all of his students. For all of the classes I observed, he knew every student really well and had inside jokes with all of them. 
- It was a very open class room and students were able to speak their opinions freely without being reprimanded. 
- He was also really understanding. - She also had music playing while the students were working together.

 - The teacher was very hands off the days that I was there observing, so I could tell that she gave her students their independence. 
- Even though she was very hands off, she was constantly checking in on the students and I could tell she had good relationships with them

- What I found most interesting was that she had a screen constantly going with positive affirmations on it. Every time a student would get frustrated or upset they would look at the screen and you could see the impact it made on them. - The classes were going over the music that they would be performing for their Spring Musical

- The teacher had really good relationships with all of his students. 
- One of the students came in late and instead of being upset about it the teacher made jokes to make the student feel more comfortable (because walking in a huge class and everyone turning around and staring at you is very uncomfortable).

- The classroom was set up in rows so it is easier for the teacher to walk through while they are singing and hear everyone. 
- There were music notes everywhere and musical decor -- you could definitely tell it was a choir room.

- The teacher was the piano player when I was in choir so it was nice seeing him and seeing the progress he made with the program and such. 
- I just really loved how positive it was and every one in the class seemed like they really enjoyed it.
